This building includes the ministry section and its associated spaces, such as conference rooms and the minister's meeting rooms, spaces required for press conferences and ministerial receptions, along with independent units for deputies and relevant departments. Additionally, an amphitheater with a capacity of 250 people on the ground floor for hosting specialized conferences and seminars, a kitchen and dining area for 2,200 staff members on the first basement level, along with four levels of underground parking, have been designed and executed in this building.
Among the main technical specifications of this building, one can point, on one hand, to its steel structure with prefabricated bolted connections, and on the other hand, to the lightweight construction achieved through dry wall methods and an independent, lightweight facade shell (curtain wall).
From an architectural standpoint, the modern design of the building has taken the form of a gateway, reflecting Iran's cultural heritage—where every road leads to a city gate. A gateway that is also evocative of the architecture of Persepolis. Another feature of the design is the open open-plan group workspaces, which facilitate the operational flexibility of the building through optimal utilization of floor space.
